Renting with the Shay Hasselmann Group

At 5:00 p.m, I received a call from a new client that had signed up on my website only moments before. I was in the process of sending them our rental questionnaire and I hadn't had time to hit send when my phone was ringing.

“Hello! This is Kate.”

“Yes hi. I know this is strange, but my husband is outside a home now. Can you tell me if it's available?”

“Sure. What is the address?”

After finding the home was available and vacant, they asked if I could meet them there.

Normally our schedules don't allow us to meet people the same day, but I was available. After some more questions to determine their motivation, I decided to head over.

In the time it took me to drive to the home (about 15 minutes), 2 other agents and their clients had toured the home while my client waited patiently. We had paperwork completed online, documentation ready, and submitted it on the spot.

The next morning, my clients had the house.

It is first come, first served in this real estate rental market. According to CNN Money, Las Vegas was just named one of the “Top 10 Cities People are Moving To.” There is stiff competition and the good homes go quickly. If it is clean, has a great layout or upgrades, and is in a desirable area, be prepared to work efficiently. The sooner you move ON a home, the sooner you can move INTO it!

Along the way, we will clarify any and all details to make it a smooth transaction. Feel free to ask any questions you may have so they can be sorted out ahead of time.

Be sure your agent communicates with the listing agent. I can't stress how important putting a voice to the application is. Sometimes a little relationship building goes a long way.
